DESCRIPTION:New Brunswick Jazz Project\n and\nNew Brunswick Performing Arts Center\npresents\nJerry Weldon Sextet\nLIVE ALBUM RECORDING \nJerry Weldon-Tenor Sax\, Alonzo Demetrius-Trumpet\, Peter Lin-Trombone \nMike Bond-Piano\, Jason Clotter-Bass\, Carmen Intorre Jr.-Drums \nJerry Weldon\, has been performing around the world for 45+ years. His resume\, a “Who’s Who in Jazz” includes the likes of Wynton Marsalis\, Joey DeFrancesco\, Jimmy Cobb and George Cables among hundreds of others. Jerry has played with Harry Connick\, Jr.’s band since 1990 and was a regular on the HARRY TV show. Now\, as all the great jazz ensemble leaders have done\, the sax master has reached toward the future and assembled a sextet featuring some of the finest young musicians on the jazz scene today. Each one is already enjoying great success and they are heading toward stellar careers.
